Framewell is a native macOS application. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or user information of any kind.

What we don't collect

No usage data or analytics
No crash reports sent to external servers
No personal information
No file or folder names, contents, or metadata
No device identifiers

Local storage only

All data created by Framewell — including star ratings, color labels, tags, collections, and smart folders — is stored locally on your Mac and never leaves your device.

License verification

Your Gumroad license key is stored locally in macOS Keychain. It is not transmitted to any server beyond the initial Gumroad verification at activation.

Third parties

Framewell is sold through Gumroad. Any data you provide during purchase is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.
